I’ve said before that cell phones have probably had as much effect on the way we navigate space as the automobile. That’s probably not true, though this study doesn’t offer much by way of comparison, but it will be interesting to watch how movement changes over time.

By studying the human movement based on data provided by cell phone connections to carrier towers, scientists have found that human movement has a 93 percent predictability rate.
